Technical Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
- Familiarity with SQL or other database querying languages for data retrieval and analysis.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Basic knowledge of modeling languages (e.g., UML, BPMN) for process mapping and documentation.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize complex data.
- Ability to identify business needs, articulate requirements, and suggest solutions.
- Experience in defining, analyzing, and documenting business processes and requirements.
- Proficiency in conducting SWOT analysis, gap analysis, and root cause analysis.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to translate technical jargon into business language and vice versa.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align requirements with project goals.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations, building consensus, and maintaining a positive working relationship with team members and stakeholders.
Attention to Detail and Quality Assurance
- High attention to detail, ensuring that requirements and solutions align with the business objectives.
- Experience in creating test cases and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
- Ability to identify and address potential issues before they impact project timelines or outcomes.
Adaptability and Continuous Improvement
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project demands and evolving business needs.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development to stay current with industry trends and tools.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Familiarity with project management, data analysis, or software development is often beneficial.
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis), or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
